Frog-Knot Fabric Earrings — Red

A pair of long, knotted earrings that move when you do — and weigh about the same as a sheet of paper.
Long drop earrings built from cotton-linen wrapped into traditional Chinese frog knots — the same looped-cord technique used to fasten qipao collars and festival jackets. Each drop stacks three small knots in vermilion red above a hand-finished embroidered cloth bell, finished with a green glass bead.
The story
Frog-knotting (盘扣) is one of the small everyday crafts of southern China — the kind of handwork that used to live on every grandmother's sewing table. We carry these because the shape is interesting and the weight is honest: twenty grams, all day, no earlobe drag.
What makes it special
- Long drop — sits at the jawline, frames the face
- About 20 g the pair — light enough for an office day
- Silver-tone hook fittings, easy on sensitive ears
- Vermilion red cotton-linen — the color is in the fiber, not printed on

How to wear it
Pulls a white tee and jeans up a notch, sits well against a black knit, and looks right at home with a linen dress in late summer. The red is loud in the hand and quiet on the ear.
Care
Store flat in the pouch. If a knot loses shape, dampen the cord lightly and reshape with your fingers. Avoid soaking — the embroidered bell is cotton.
