Jacquard brocade is the everyday textile of southern China — the cloth used for children's hats, festival aprons, and the panel inserts in traditional jackets. We use it as a coaster because the colors don't print off, the weave holds up to mugs, and a stack of four turns into a quiet color story on the table.
