The story

The Miao and Yi people of southwest China have been combining silver-tone metalwork with hand embroidery for centuries — the metal is a hard frame for a soft embroidered face, and the two materials play off each other. We carry this style because the proportions work on a western neckline, and because the embroidery is the part that photographs.
